Duke and King-Xzus and Athena's 2nd Litter

Duke(blue/rust male) and King(black/rust male) went to a family of close friends of ours. Because our families are close, they had unique insight as to the on-goings on our ranch. They visited the puppies many times and one of them even stayed with us a couple of weeks working on our ranch while the puppies were here. Because of the ability of this family to provide proper provisions for 2 males along with the temperament of these particular brothers, we chose to place them together. Please be aware that this is not our usual practice.

Keva-Xzus and Athena's 1st Litter

Keva (Red/rust female) went to live in Oklahoma with Austin. Austin has kept us up to date with Keva's progress and we are happy to say that she has placed top in her class for both puppy and intermediate obedience training. Austin was able to come to our ranch to pick Keva up and experience how the puppies are treated/raised. Austin is also on our list for a second puppy as soon as he returns from his upcoming deployment.

Mandy-Xzus and Athena's 2nd Litter

Mandy(fawn/rust female) went to PA to live with Jan and her new dobie sister. It was a long trip, but you can see from her photos that she is well cared for and VERY happy.

Previous Litters
This portion is dedicated to little tidbits from litters found in our photo gallery. These are not lengthy letters, just emails from puppy parents and updated photos of the babies as they grow.

Baby-Xzus and Athena's 2nd Litter

Baby (Fawn/rust female) went to live in Oklahoma with Jim and Lois. This family has always loved the breed and were in great need of a companion. We were happy to fill that spot.

"First I wanted to wish you a very Merry Christmas. I thought I would send you a picture of baby and let you see what a pure blessing she has been in our lives. She is major league spoiled and still has not heard that she is a dog and not a person. :0) I would love to have found a male around her age and with a like disposition, but not sure that would be possible. She is such a character.  She loves to tease me and believes she is the queen of the house."

Athena-Xzus and Athena's 3rd Litter

Athena(Black/rust female) lives in the DFW area with her family the Nacarato‏s. She is soon to have a companion from our upcoming litter in the fall of 2010. Read what the Nacarato's have to say about this sweet girl.

Loki-Xzus and Athena's 3rd Litter

Loki(Black/rust male) went to live in Corpus Christi with the MacLeod's. He went to a training school and is growing to be a large baby like his daddy.

Spencer-Xzus and Peppy's 2nd Litter

Spencer(Black/rust male) went to live in San Antonio.

"We are doing WONDERFUL.  He has slept with me.  We have had only to mistakes (pees) in the house.  Turns out I couldn't find the crate but I went to pet smart and bought a 42 inch one with the divider.  The boys LOVE playing with him and vice versa.  HE IS A DREAM.  I am calling him Spencer.  I LOVE HIM SOOOOO much, Lora."

4/2/10: Spencer is doing GREAT.  The boys love him.  Potty training is so so.  Probably bc I let him sleep on the bed with us.  He does go to the door when he needs to go though, but when he is in the great the crying and barking is unbearable!  We only crate him when he has to be in the house alone and he is good about going in his crate b/c we never force him in it otherwise.  And he does definitely PREFER going to the bathroom outside, the few times he has gone potty inside, I know he just couldn't help himself.

He is perfect in every way.  Not too hyper but playful and not skittish.  SUPER LOVING.  I am attaching a picture I took of him and Caleb sleeping together...

Hugs,

Carissa
